are tattoo shops open during holidays like thanksgiving?
im thinking about getting a tattoo next time i go home for the vacation which is in new york city but i’ll only be there for 3 days and i wanted to get a nice tatto on the back of my shoulder on the right side while in the city but im not sure whether or not tatto shops will be open thanksgivin which is the day that i plan to do it.im not getting it for any particular reason like the holiday or anything its just that i have no other time to because ill only be there a couple days so i wanna do it on my vacation time.
i just want to know if anybody out there know of any GOOD tattoo shops in new york city only, that are open during holidays cause that is like the only time i get to go home from school is on holidays and summer and spring breaks. if u know of any place please let me know of the address and name. .

I am not in NYC but my studio will be closed Thursday and open for Friday and Saturday - we know a lot of people are off for the break, but don’t expect to find anyone around on Thanksgiving day, itself.
My hours are pretty consistent with most studios.

i work at a tattoo shop, and we always open just a little later sometimes because its usually a party in there anyway… but just call the tattoo shops closest to you and ask.. i don’t know what part of New York you live in, but here are a few I know of:
